Using a 23 gauge pin nailer to hang crown?
I hung crown in my bathroom this last weekend. I used a 23 gauge pin nailer (1 1/4") to hang the crown, then I used latex caulk on the gaps to seal them and hold the crown to the wall. Will this support the crown properly in this room (6 feet by 4 feet). Will this work for larger (16 foot) sections? Should I switch to an 18 gauge finish nailer, and what size nails should I use?
